Auxiliary Board / Finance & Audit Committee

Finance & Audit Committee Description- areas of responsibility may include: oversight of OWF finances, future investments, appropriations of funds to adventures & the OW Ranch, monitor & update state/local regulations on small games of chance and various other fund raising techniques, prepare for audits, monitor & organize bookkeeping/meeting agendas/notes, provide status reports at monthly meetings, etc.


 

Auxiliary Board / Membership Committee

Membership Committee Description- areas of responsibility may include: interviews with future members, strategic pursuit of people to fill all committees/sub-committees where needed, creating guidelines & responsibilities: for members/meeting attendance/member contact systems/committee self-selection sign-ups (each November), in the future – this committee will be responsible to organize & monitor state charter memberships/programs, seek candidates & make suggestions for the Advisory Board to the officers, provide status reports at monthly meetings, etc.


 

Auxiliary Board / Sponsorship & Philanthropy Committee

Sponsorship & Philanthropy Committee Description- areas of responsibility may include: developing relationships with sponsors/partners for continued support, find new financial/product relationships, drive sponsorship for individual events, develop relationships with Philanthropic individuals for possible trust beneficiary benefits, help be a spokesperson for OWF at certain guest-speaker events, provide status reports at monthly meetings, etc.


 

Auxiliary Board / Marketing Committee

Marketing Committee Description- areas of responsibility may include: developing relationships with radio stations/newspaper/TV news stations/local publications/local public TV/Outdoor Channel/Sportsman Channel, develop/contact organizations in the hunting industry/medical fields/recreational sports industry, improve & monitor our website/Facebook/Twitter, look for ways to increase our activity & exposure with social media, develop relationships with lodge owners/outfitters/taxidermists/land owners, keep marketing material on hand, update & improve marketing materials, develop products/merchandise for our store, focus on creating full exposure for upcoming events by coordinating with Event Committee, coordinate with Wish Committee to generate awareness thru marketing to the healthcare/social worker network, provide status reports at monthly meetings, etc.


 

Auxiliary Board / Event Committee

Event Committee Description- areas of responsibility may include: responsible for helping with all aspects of OWF events, monitor/maintain a yearly calendar for events & appearances, develop relationships with drink/food/supply venders that we utilize at our events, manage marketing materials (posters/tickets/sponsorships forms) for events by coordinating with other committees (Marketing/Sponsorship), help organize & schedule personnel for representation of our foundation at trap shoots/trade shows/ tournaments/parades/etc., provide status reports at monthly meetings, etc.


 

Auxiliary Board / Wish Committee

Wish Committee Description- areas of responsibility may include: Responsible for children’s application process/review & making sure all information is accurate, research child’s medical issues & contact physicians to set up educational interviews for website, adventure oversight (the +/- on the abilities of each individual child & each wish – monitor potential liability problems/issues), organize transportation/airfare/hotels/food needs/medical needs/total trip itinerary, develop ways to get our word out to potential candidates to generate more applications – coordinate with the Marketing Committee, provide status reports at monthly meetings, etc.


 

Auxiliary Board / Pro-staff Committee

Pro-staff Committee Description- areas of responsibility may include: Develop relationships with fellow sportsman (through coordination with Marketing Committee) thru Social Networking/Blogs, willing to be trained on all camera equipment in order to participate on adventures as a cameraman, work with Marketing Committee to develop relationships with lodge owners/outfitters/taxidermists, Develop relationships with other outdoor shows in order to gain support for movie trailers directing people back to our website, Develop relationships with outdoor apparel & gear manufacturers in order to get commitments to outfit our children & their families, Work on getting relationships with partners for OWF Apparel for our staff & store (through coordination with Marketing Committee), represent OWF on adventures, provide status reports at monthly meetings, etc.


 

Auxiliary Board / Volunteer Committee

Volunteer Committee Description- willing to help out where ever needed, day of event / fundraiser volunteers, procurement of raffles / sponsors, etc.
